The Oronoko Charter Township Board of Review is a body of three township residents appointed by the township board to serve two-year terms.

2022 March Meeting Dates
Tuesday, March 8 9:00 am (Organizational Meeting only)
Monday, March 14 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Appeals)
Wednesday, March 16 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Appeals)
The March Board of Review is charged with reviewing the assessment roll prepared by the assessor as well as hearing and deciding appeals (protests) of property owners. Property owners may appeal four items at the March Board of Review– the assessed value, tentative taxable value, classification, and qualified agricultural exemption. Hardship (poverty) Exemptions, Veteran's Exemptions, and Real Property Tax Exemption requests are also heard by the March Board of Review. March Board of Review is the only time of year that assessments can be appealed.

The July and December Boards of Review have authority over clerical errors, mutual mistakes of fact, principal residence/qualified agricultural exemption corrections as well as Veteran's Exemption and Hardship Exemption requests.
