Specific Development Districts are areas in Riverton where the City Council has approved development or zoning regulations specific to a particular development. When a Specific Development District is overlayed on an existing Zone, the Zoning Designation becomes the base zone followed by “SD” for example R-4-SD. In any case, where the development standards of the specific development plan differ from the regulations of the base zone, the specific development plan shall apply. When the Specific Development does not rely on a base zone, the name of the Development is included in the name of the zone, for example, “Monarch Meadows SD.” A list of Specific Development Districts is included below.
