The daily work of the Public Works Department is divided between the water/sewer operations and routine daily maintenance. The Water Coordinator and our DPW employees all have the ability to handle the responsibility for the entire water and sewer system if the need arose. This demands that all personnel be well trained. Some of their duties include, rebuild and maintain machinery and motors, repair and modify electrical circuits and controls, inspect water and sewer main construction, water meter installation and repair, water and wastewater lab analysis, and maintain buildings and grounds.
